Garda Recovers Body Of Missing 74-Year-Old Woman
Gardaí searching for missing Kathleen Reilly have recovered her body.
The body of the 74-year-old Athlone woman was found on Tuesday evening.
Her body has been taken to the morgue at Tullamore Hospital where a post-mortem is due to be carried out later today, 22 June.
Gardaí thanked the public for their help during the search.
No further information has been released.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Investigation Launched After Body Found In Carlow
The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

It is understood that gardaí searching for 54-year-old Carmel Tynan, who was last seen near her home at Patricks Avenue on Sunday, have uncovered a body at her home in Portarlington. The body is said to have been found behind piles of clothes in a walk-in wardrobe.

A man has been jailed for life for killing Irish woman Siobhan Kelly who lay dead in her London flat undiscovered for three weeks after he beat her to death. Stephen Foad, 42, denied murdering Miss Kelly, but three days into the trial he changed his plea. He was given a minimum term of 13 years.
