Three Due In Court Charged With Burglary In Athlone
Two men and a woman have been charged in connection with the burglary of a shop in Athlone, Co Westmeath on Sunday 19 June.
The 21 and 49-year-old men, and 22-year-old woman, are due to appear before Mullingar District Court this morning, Thursday 23rd June.
A large amount of cash was taken during the burglary.
The man, 21, and woman, 22, were arrested on Tuesday 21 June in the Clara area of Co Offaly. The second man was arrested on Wednesday, also in the Clara area. All three were detained at Athlone Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 as amended.
Gardaí said they have recovered a substantial amount of cash during this investigation.

Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a house burglary in Dublin The incident occurred at a home in the Beaumont area at 2pm on Wednesday, 28 June. The homeowners, a couple in their 80s, had returned to their house following a visit to their local bank, having withdrawn money which was intended to pay for a family holiday.

Appeal Issued For Blarney Teenager Aoife Thornhill
Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 17-year-old Aoife Thornhill, who is missing from Blarney since 11th June 2017. The teenager is described as 5'5'' of slim build with blue eyes and blonde hair. When she was last seen she was wearing black top and leggings and black boots.

Man Dies In Workplace Accident In Rosslare
A man in his 20s has died following an accident in the workplace in County Wexford. Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene this morning, Thursday 21 March, at around 7.45am. The man was working at Rosslare Europort in Rosslare Harbour. The coroner and Health and Safety Authority have been notified.
