Cocaine Found In Passengers Luggage At Dublin Airport
A quantity of cocaine has been seized by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport.
11kg of cocaine was found in the luggage of a 25-year-old man who arrived at the airport on a flight from Paris.
A search of the passenger’s suitcase revealed four apparently empty rucksacks, each of which was found to have a concealment of cocaine sewn into the back panel. The value of the drugs is in excess of €750,000.
The passenger was arrested at the scene by an Garda Síochána and conveyed to Ballymun Garda Station. He appeared in court this morning charged with the sale, supply and importation of drugs and was remanded in custody for one week by Judge Michael Walsh.

Woman Arrested Over Dublin Airport Cocaine Seizure
Cocaine worth an estimated €250,000 has been seized at Dublin Airport. A 39-year-old woman, who arrived in Dublin from Dubai, was stopped and questioned by Revenue officers. She was found to be carrying the cocaine in three confectionery tins. The woman was arrested and detained by Gardaí. Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.

An investigation has been launched after a quantity of drugs, believed to be cocaine, was found onboard a plane at Shannon Airport on Wednesday. According to reports, the discovery was made in an overhead luggage compartment as routine maintenance was carried out on the plane.

Cocaine, with an estimated street value of €70,000, has been seized by customs officers at Dublin Airport. It is understood that 1kg of the drug was found in a child's toy house, which arrived in a freight consignment from Canada on Thursday.
