Man Critical After Shooting In Dublin

A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being shot in Lusk, Co Dublin.

Gardai said the incident occurred at Dun Emer Place at 9:50am on Tuesday morning, 05 July.

The victim, in his late 30s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital were his condition has been described as critical.

A Volkswagon Golf was seen leaving the area and was discovered burnt out at Kilhedge Lane, Lusk a short time later.

Garda said anyone who was in or around the Dun Emer area or Kilhedge Lane, Lusk, and who may have seen anything unusual to contact Balbriggan Garda Station on 01 - 8020510, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800  666 111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing for information after the 36-year-old victim was shot a number of times at around 9:35am at Dun Emer Place, Lusk on Tuesday, 05 July. Man Remains Critical Following Dublin Shooting
A man, aged in his late 30s, remains in a critical condition in hospital after being shot several times in Dublin. The victim was shot near his home in Dún Emer Place in Lusk just before 10am on Tuesday, 05 July. He was treated at the scene and is now being treated at Beaumont Hospital, where his condition has been described as "critical".

Man Arrested And Released In Garda Station Money Theft Investigation
A man arrested on Thursday morning in connection with €9,000 missing from Balbriggan Garda Station has been released without charge. The money was part of €26,000 recovered by gardaí after it was stolen during an armed robbery at Lusk post office in January.
