Man Remains Critical Following Shooting In Dublin
A 36-year-old man remains in a critical condition following a shooting incident in Dublin.
Gardaí are appealing for information after the 36-year-old victim was shot a number of times at around 9:35am at Dun Emer Place, Lusk on Tuesday, 05 July.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
An incident room has been established at Balbriggan Garda Station and a family liaison officer has been appointed.
Superintendent Noel Carolan said: "I would like to thank members of the public who have provided information and assistance in the investigation to date.
"Several hundred separate lines of inquiry are being followed by investigating Gardaí with assistance from detectives attached to the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and other national units. I am again appealing to anyone with information to contact the incident room."
Superintendent Carolan added: "I am also appealing for information about the movements of a white Volkswagen Golf, bearing a Northern Ireland registration number XFZ 9316, in the days and hours up to 10am on the Tuesday 5th July 2016, and in particular any sightings of this car in the areas of Dun Emer Estate and Kilhedge Lane, Lusk Co. Dublin."

Eddie Hutch was shot and killed in an incident on Monday night on Poplar Row, Dublin 3. Assistant Commissioner Jack Nolan, Dublin Metropolitan Region appealed for information regarding a car used in this incident.
