Renewed Appeal In Investigation Into Sudden Death of Tori Johnston
Gardaí investigating the sudden death of a teenager from Co Donegal have issued a fresh appeal for information.
Tori Johnston, 17, from Bomany, Letterkenny, collapsed at Voodoo Nightclub on the morning of Wednesday, 15 July, last year.
She was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital where she later died at 6.30am. Investigations to date have not determined the cause of Tori's death.
It is understood that a number of people came forward and assisted the original investigation, however Garda said they believe other people who attended Voodoo Nightclub on the morning of Tori's death have yet to come forward.
Anybody who has information which may assist and explain why Tori died is asked to come forward by contacting the Incident Room at Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 9167100 or if they wish to remain anonymous they can call the Garda Confidential Telephone line on 1800 666 111.
Garda said any assistance would be "greatly appreciated and callers will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence".

Two Killed In Separate Road Collisions
Two people have died as a result of road collisions on Ireland's road's yesterday evening. In the latest incident, a young man was killed when his car smashed into a tree in his hometown. Brian Kelly, 28, from Durrow, Co Laois, died in the crash on the N8 at Watercastle, Durrow, shortly before 10pm.

A young GAA player has collapsed during training and died in a suspected case of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS). Ciaran Carr, 20, from Clondalkin, Co Dublin, died as he was training with his local Round Towers GAA Club on Friday evening. He was participating in an indoor circuit training session when he suddenly fell forward and collapsed.

Fresh Border Bomb Alert Ends
A security alert in Newry, the second in the city in two days, has ended. Police were investigating a suspicious object in the grounds of St Mary's Church, but said "nothing untoward" was found. Several homes had been evacuated due to a bomb alert in Newry - the second in 24 hours.
