Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Alleged Sexual Assault In Clondalkin
Gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault in Clondalkin this morning, 28 July.
According to reports a woman was walking along the Lucan-Newlands Road towards Clondalkin at about 3am when she was attacked by at least three men.
No arrests have been made and gardaí have appealed for anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident to contact them at Ronanastown Garda Station on 01 666 7700.
Sinn Féin Dublin Mid-West TD, Eoin Ó Broin, has urged people with any information to contact Garda
"This brutal attack must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. Our thoughts are with the women and her family. I would urge people with any information about this attack to contact Ronanstown Garda Station on 01 666 7700. Any information, even rumour or gossip, could be helpful," Deputy Ó Broin said.
"It is not enough just to express our outrage. There is a need to do more to tackle the causes of rape culture and to provide greater support to survivors of these crimes."

Man Killed In Saggart Shooting
An investigation has been launched into the death of a man following a shooting in Saggart in Co Dublin. It is understood a man in his 40s was attacked at about 23:00 on Tuesday at a house in Botherboy. He was later pronounced dead at Tallaght Hospital. The scene of the shooting has been sealed off pending a forensic examination.

Two Arrested In Connection With Dean Johnson Murder
Two men in their 20's have been arrested in connection with the murder of Dean Johnson in Dublin in August. Mr Johnson was shot dead at Neilstown Road, Clondalkin. A number of searches were carried out by gardai in Ronanstown, Clondalkin, Cabra and Kilock and two males were arrested.

Man Arrested After Heroin Seized During Vehicle Search
A man has been arrested after heroin was discovered during a vehicle search in Co Dublin. It is understood the drugs, worth an estimated value of €420,000, were seized by Garda at 4.30 during a search in Clondalkin yesterday, 10 December. The 35-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene and taken to Lucan Garda station. Enquiries are continuing.

Man Critical After Arriving At Garda Station Suffering Gunshot Wounds
A man is in a critical condition after being shot a number of times in the neck and upper body in a west Dublin church car park on Wednesday evening. The man, aged in his 30s, managed to drive himself to Clondalkin Garda Station, despite having been seriously injured in the shooting at around 18:00 yesterday.
