Unexploded Bomb Found In Kildare Garden
An unexploded bomb has been uncovered in the front garden of a home in Kildare.
It is understood the homeowner immediately contacted Gardaí after discovering the device at about 3.30pm on Wednesday.
Gardaí alerted the Army bomb disposal unit to examine the find. A number of residents in the immediate area were evacuated as a precaution.
According to reports the bomb is approximately 18 pounds and of English origin.
Investigations are continuing.

Belfast Security Alert 'Latest Incident'
While no one was hurt in an overnight gun attack on a house in west Belfast, a suspect object is this morning being examined by Army bomb experts in south Belfast. The object was found in the garden of a house in Friendly Street in the Markets area on Thursday morning with the area closed off as a result of the alert, which started at about 9am.

Gardai Investigate Pipe Bomb Incident In Dublin
Gardai are currently investigating a pipe bomb incident in Dublin this morning. The bomb exploded on Apollo way at 12.30am in Coolock. No one was injured in the incident. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Hands 100-Year-Old Explosive Into Gardaí Station
A woman has handed in a 100-year-old explosive device she found in her garage. Trim Gardaí station was immediately evacuated at about 22:00 on Thursday when an elderly woman handed in an explosive device she had found while clearing out her garage. The device was taken into the station's car park and roads in the immediate area were closed.

Cork Gardaí Station Evacuated After Pipe Bomb Handed In
Togher Gardaí Station in Cork city has been evacuated after a member of the public brought in a pipe bomb. An army bomb disposal team are on site and working to make the bomb safe. It is understood that a man handed in the pipe bomb after finding it at the rear of his house early this morning (Monday).

The army's Explosive Ordnance Defence unit were called to assess the device, which has been removed for examination. The army bomb disposal team will dismantle the device, then return it to garda for forensic examination.
