Two Adults And Four Children Rescued From Burning Boat

Two adults and four children have been rescued by Schull CRBI after their inboard petrol engine caught fire.

Valentia Coast Guard raised the alarm just before 7.30pm on Sunday night, 31 July.

When Schull CRBI arrived at the scene, one adult and four children had taken to the water over fears their vessel was getting worse.

Baltimore Lifeboat were also tasked to the scene, however stood down en route as the emergency dangers receded and became non-life threatening.
