Man Arrested Following Robbery In Co Kilkenny
A man has been arrested following a post office robbery in Co Kilkenny.
The incident occurred on Main Street, Mullinavat at around 12pm today, 03 August.
The suspect, who is in his mid 20s, entered the shop with what was believed to be a firearm and left the scene with a quantity of cash.
Gardaí arrested the man a short distance away and a sum of money was recovered.
The suspect was brought to Thomastown Garda Station where he is currently being detained.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Man Arrested Over Kilkenny Woman's Death
Gardaí are continuing to question a man in connection with the death of a 42-year-old woman in Kilkenny over the weekend. Lorraine White died after being rushed to St Luke's Hospital, suffering from major internal injuries, last Saturday morning. A post-mortem has been carried out, but the results have not yet been released.

Man Arrested Following Fatal Crash In Kilkenny
A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Kilkenny. A man died in the collision, which happened at around 1am on the westbound carriage of the N24 Piltown bypass. The second car involved failed to remain at the scene. A 53-year-old man is currently being detained at Thomastown Garda Station.

Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.
