Safety Camera Network Contract Awarded To GoSafe
Road Safety Operations Ireland (RSOI) has been awarded a new contract for the provision and operation of Ireland's safety camera network.
RSOI, trading as GoSafe, won the contract following a public procurement competition, the Department of Justice and Equality reported.
Tenders were evaluated by a committee chaired by the Department and comprising the Office of Government Procurement, Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, An Garda Síochána and Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
The duration of the new contract is six years, starting on the expiration of the current contract in November this year, with the option to extend the contract for an additional 12 months.
