Renewed Appeal Following Murder Of Raonaid Murray

Gardai have renewed their appeal for information following the murder of 17-year old Raonaid Murray.

Her body was found at Silchester Crescent in Glenageary, Dublin, just 500 metres from her home on 04 September 1999.

She worked at a clothes shop then known as Sally West in Dun Laoghaire Shopping Centre. She left the shop at approximately 9pm on the 03 September 1999 and went with a friend to Scott's Public House in Dun Laoghaire. She made arrangements with a friend to go to a nightclub later that night. She left Scott's at approximately 11.20pm to go home and get changed and her body was then found less than 500 yards from her home.

Gardai are renewing their appeal for any information which may assist in their continued investigation.

Renewed Appeal For Information On Missing Woman Tina Satchwell
A renewed appeal for information on the whereabouts of Tina Satchwell has been issued. Mrs Satchwell went missing from her family home in Grattan Street, Youghal two years ago. She was 47-years-old. Speaking to RTÉ, Richard Satchwell, Tina's husband, urged for anyone with information on his wife's whereabouts to come forward.

Gardaí in Tallaght have renewed an appeal for information regarding the murder of Michael Gallagher in January 2007. Mr Gallagher was fatally stabbed when he was attacked by two men at his home at 49 Tymonville Road, Tallaght, on Thursday 18 January, 2007.

Renewed Appeal Over Murder Of Taxi Driver
Gardaí have renewed an appeal for information on the murder of taxi driver Martin Mulligan. Mr Mulligan (53) was stabbed to death on 28 September following an altercation in Dundalk in Co Louth. It is believed the altercation began over an unpaid taxi fare.

The Special Criminal Court has jailed a Dublin man who extorted more than a quarter of a million euro from a fish and chip shop owner in the city by threatening him with the Real IRA. “It is abundantly clear that this activity was ordinary criminal racketeering and terrorising ordinary innocent people,” said Mr Justice Paul Butler.
