Search Operation Launched Across Dublin
A large search operation was launched at 6.30am this morning, 14 September, in an operation targeting serious organised crime in the Dublin region.
Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, accompanied by staff from the Criminal Assets Bureau, launched an intelligence-led operation relating to serious organised crime in the Dublin Region.
Gardaí are currently executing a number of search warrants at various locations in Dublin City and County with a view to gathering evidence to support a prosecution against individuals engaged in serious organised crime.
The operation has been described as the culmination of significant investigative activity to date and is supported by other law enforcement agencies including La Guardia Civil who are assisting in today's activity.
Further updates on the outcome of the operation is expected following the culmination of the searches.

Two men have been arrested during a series of search operations in the Larne and Ballyclare areas on Tuesday 27 September. Four searches were carried out by officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) assisted by the Police Service's Tactical Support Group and local district officers.

Almost €200,000 Seized From Vehicle In Dublin
Almost €200,000 in cash has been seized by garda during a vehicle search in Dublin. Gardaí attached to the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, assisted by the newly formed Special Crime Task Force, stopped and searched a vehicle in the vicinity of the Fonthill Road, Dublin 22 on Saturday, 27 August.

35 Arrests Made In Four-Day Operation Thor Investigation
Gardaí have made 35 arrests during a four-day operation aimed at preventing crime, disrupting criminal activity and enhancing community engagement in the Kilkenny-Carlow Division. As a result of Operation Thor – 'Project Storm' 10 people have been charged and will appear at local sittings of Carlow and Kilkenny District Court in the coming weeks.

Cocaine Seizure 'Significant Blow Against Organised Crime'
Cocaine worth an estimated €500,000 has been seized by officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in Co Dublin. The drugs were uncovered during a search of a premises at Coolquay, The Ward on Sunday, 27 March. Approximately seven kilos of cocaine with a street value of €500,000 was seized during the operation.
