Three Men Arrested In Connection With Co Meath Cannabis Seizure
Three men have been arrested following the seizure of cannabis herb worth an estimated €2.7 million in CO Meath.
The discovery was made when detectives searched a number of vehicles in Ashbourne shortly after 3pm on Tuesday, 25 October. Three males aged 58, 41 & 35 were arrested during the operation and are currently detained at Ashbourne and Finglas Garda Stations under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Garda said that they operation was part of ongoing investigations targeting organised criminal activity in the Dublin and Meath regions.

Gardaí have seized cannabis worth €2.5 million in County Meath. Officers from the Ballymena Drugs Unit raided a property in Gormanston, uncovering the cannabis and two hand grenades. The Defence Forces bomb disposal team was called in to secure the devices.

Three men have been arrested in Co Waterford as part of Operation Thor, an ongoing national anti-crime initiative. The men were arrested on Thursday evening when garda stopped a car in Tramore. They are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Tramore and Waterford Garda Stations.

Three Held After Meath Explosives Find
It has been revealed that a quantity of explosives and detonators were discovered in a car stopped in Co Meath. The seizure followed an operation carried out by gardaí last night, Both uniform and detective police officers from Navan and Kells were responsible for stopping a car near Kells.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.
