Woman Due In Court Charged With Roscrea Body Find

A woman is due to appear before Thurles District Court charged in connection with the discovery of a man's body in Roscrea on Sunday.

Shortly after 2.30am on Sunday, 21 November, gardaí found the body of man, aged in his 40s, at a residential premises at The Malting, Roscrea, Co Tipperary.

The man had suffered a number of stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman, also aged in her 40s, was arrested a short time later.

Gardaí have said further updates will follow.

Investigation Launched After Body Found In Carlow
The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Killer Gets Life For Severely Beating Irish Woman
A man has been jailed for life for killing Irish woman Siobhan Kelly who lay dead in her London flat undiscovered for three weeks after he beat her to death. Stephen Foad, 42, denied murdering Miss Kelly, but three days into the trial he changed his plea. He was given a minimum term of 13 years.
