Urgent Appeal Issued For Missing School Boy

An urgent appeal has been issued for help in tracing a young boy after he failed to arrive at school this morning.

Greenlanes National Shool in Clontarf, north Dublin, issued the appeal on their website and Facebook page this afternoon. It states that Cian Zambra has not been seen since this morning, when he made his way towards Kincora Road. The appeal states the boy's mother watched him walk towards Kincora Road, but he did not arrive at his school.

It is understood that his schoolbag was found on Springdale Road opposite St Joseph's Hospital.

According to a report by RTÉ, when last seen Cian was wearing a blue anorak, navy tracksuit bottoms, yellow and navy shoes, a navy hoodie with a green stripe. He was wearing red metallic thin framed glasses.

The school has appealed for anyone who has seen Cian, or has any information on his whereabouts to contact them.
