Cannabis Plants Worth €140,000 Uncovered In Leitrim

Cannabis plants worth an estimated €140,000 have been uncovered during a planned raid in Leitrim.

Gardaí discovered approximately 175 cannabis plants at a house in Carraigall.

It is understood the property was unoccupied and no arrests have been made in relation to the find.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination and Gardaí are appealing with anyone with information to contact them.

Men Arrested Over Three Cannabis Seizures
Gardaí investigating three cannabis seizures in Co Offaly in the past week have arrested two men. Garda officers discovered cannabis plants worth an estimated €250,000 at a premises in Clonmore, Edenderry. This was followed by the seizure of cannabis plants worth an estimated €160,000 found in a vehicle near Tullamore on Thursday.

Pair Arrested As Gardaí Raid Leitrim Grow House
Two men have been arrested and detained after gardaí discovered a cannabis grow house in County Leitrim. 90 plants in the early stages of growth, a kilogram of cannabis herb, cultivation equipment and 50 fully mature cannabis plants were seized from the premises. The drugs had an estimated street value of €60,000.

Four Arrested In Connection With Drugs Seizures
Around €1m worth of drugs were seized as part of a planned Garda Operation in Longford and South Roscommon. Four people have been arrested in connection in what is believed to be nearly 2,000 cannabis plants. A man in his 20's was arrested after around 800 cannabis plants were seized at a growhouse in the South Roscommon area.

Men Arrested Over Cannabis Seizures
Gardaí in Co Kerry have seized cannabis plants worth an estimated €140,000 in searches in two villages. Around 128 cannabis plants were uncovered at Barrow House, Barrow West, in Ardfert on Saturday, with an estimated street value of €100,000. A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the find.

Cannabis Found In Wooded Area In Co Cavan
Cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 has been uncovered in a wooded area in Co Cavan. Gardaí confirmed they made the discovery on Tuesday at Drumgill. No one has been arrested in connection with the find, gardaí have said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
