Man Dies Following Hit-And-Run
A man has died following a hit-and-run incident in Dublin.
The victim, named as 28-year-old Karl Robertson was out jogging when he was hit by a van on Hazlewood Drive in Artane at around 9.50pm on Wednesday night, 08 March.
He was taken to hospital but has since died from his injuries.
It is understood the van involved in the incident – a white Renault Megane – did not stop following the collision. It was found burnt-out a short time later at Beechlawn Grove in Coolock, close to Parnells GAA Club.
A man in his 30s has presented himself to gardaí and is assisting with inquiries.
Detectives are also trying to trace another man who arrived at the scene and told people he saw what happened, however he left before gardaí arrived.
Anyone with information on the incident, or who saw a white Renault Megane van in the area of Coolock or Artane on Wednesday night, are asked to contact Coolock Garda Station on 01 666 42 00, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
