Up To 150 New Jobs Announced In Dublin

Up to 150 new jobs are to be created in Dublin by IT security firm Citrix.

The company has announced a major expansion of its offices at East Point Business Park.

In addition, upgrades will be carried out to provide a modern work environment which encourages open collaboration and social interaction.

Once finished, the expanded office will provide workspaces for over 400 employees and will host the EMEA Inside Sales and Tech Support functions and other support roles.

Minister for Jobs Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O'Connor said: "We already have a strong footprint of ICT companies in the Dublin area and we always encourage these companies to expand and diversify. That is exactly what Citrix have decided to do, with the creation of an additional 150 valuable, high skilled jobs, which is a great vote of confidence in what we have to offer. I am confident that Ireland has the IT skills available to facilitate this exciting expansion."

SIPTU Expresses Shock At Announcement Of C&C Closure
Trade union SIPTU has expressed "shock" at the sudden closure of the C&C plant in Tipperary. It is understood workers at the plant in Borrisoleigh, Co Tipperary, were told at a meeting at 14:00 on Tuesday was to close, putting almost 150 jobs at risk.

Danske Bank To Cut 150 Jobs
Danske Bank Ireland has announced it is to cut 150 jobs as a result of a restructuring of its banking operations in Ireland. The bank, formerly known as National Irish Bank, is to withdraw from the personal banking market to focus on its corporate operations. It is understood that the job losses will be compulsory.

GloHealth To Create 150 Jobs
Health insurer GloHealth has announced it will create 150 jobs in the next three to four years. 45 of the positions have already been filled. Company manager Jim Dowdall said: "GloHealth is making a promise that everyone will get better value.

150 Jobs Announced For Dublin
150 jobs have been announced for Dublin through the establishment of a Managed Services Centre in the city by Calypso Technology. The new Managed Services Centre will be the basis of a new professional service model. The investment is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.

150 New Jobs To Be Created In Dublin
Some 150 new jobs are to be created in Dublin by four companies. Seventy five jobs are to be created with two Indian companies establishing offices in Dublin/ Another 40 jobs are to be created by Aditi Technologies, as the set up a European Services and Business Development Centre in the capitol.
