Man Dies In Hospital Following Incident Outside Dublin Night Club

A man has died in hospital following an assault outside a Dublin night club in the early hours of Sunday morning, 07 May.

The 34-year-old man died in hospital on Tuesday 09 May, following the incident on Sunday.

Gardaí have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the incident, which occurred outside a club in the Airside Retail Park in Swords. Anyone who was in the area between 3-3.30am on Sunday is asked to contact gardaí.

A man arrested in connection with the death remains in custody, under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Swords Garda Station.

Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Motorcyclist Death Is 20th This Year
A motorcyclist has died in Co Kildare following a collision with a car at around 15:00 on Wednesday. The crash happened outside Celbridge on the M4 between junction 6 and the Maynooth Road. The man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Search For Man Who Stole Garda Car
A hunt has been launched for a man that stole a Garda vehicle before driving it over the border and alighting in South Armagh. Gardaí said they are searching for the man who was stopped by two gardaí driving near Lusk, Co Dublin, at around 9.30pm on Sunday night. He was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and placed in the garda car.
