Witnesses Sought To Fatal Road Traffic Crash In Co Galway

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following a fatal road traffic collision at Carrownhuineagh, Dunmore, Co Galway.

A 21-year-old male driver was killed when the car he was driving was collided with another car at 8.30pm on Monday, 09 October.

A male passenger in the vehicle, also aged 21, received minor injuries. The male driver in the second car (74yrs) and two female passengers (70yrs and a two-year-old child) also suffered minor injuries in the collision.

The road remains closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, and local diversions are in place.

John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. Missing Cork Girl Believed To Be In Belfast
The PSNI is working with Gardai after a girl who went missing from Cork is believed to have travelled to Belfast. Leigh Arundel, 15, may be with an older male according to the police. Leigh went missing from her home on 05 September. She has a tattoo with the name 'Jimmy' on her left hand.

Man Dies In Road Traffic Crash
Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Castle Street, Trim, at approximately 12.50am this morning. A male pedestrian in his 40s was fatally injured when he was struck by a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan.

Gardai in Riverstown Co. Sligo are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 8.15 am this morning. A 22-year-old male was pronounced dead at Sligo General Hospital after the car which he was driving was involved in a collision with a lorry at Clevery, Castlebaldwin, Co. Sligo.
