155,000 Irish Rail Customers To Be Affected By Strike
Around 155,000 Irish Rail customers are expected to be impacted by industrial action on Wednesday, 01 November.
Iarnród Éireann Staff are staging one-day of strike action due to a dispute over pay. Thousands of customers across Intercity, Dart and Commuter routes will all be affected
Workers are asking for a 3.75% pay rise per year over three years to match recent wage rises secured by Luas and Dublin Bus staff.
Further industrial action is scheduled to take place on 07 November, 14 November, 23 November and 08 December.
In a statement, Iarnród Éireann said affected customers who have purchased tickets can apply for a refund.
