Two Arrested In Connection With Aggravated Burglary In Terenure
A 24-year-old woman and 27-year-old man have been arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary in Terenure on Wednesday, 13 December.
At approximately 2am two masked people gained entry to a house by smashing a downstairs window and threatened the male occupant. During the course of the night the injured party was taken to an ATM and forced to withdraw a sum of money. Later in the morning at approximately 10am he was again taken from his residence to a bank and forced to withdraw a substantial amount of cash.
The man suffered facial injuries during the incident.
A man and a woman were arrested in Dublin City Centre following the search of a house. Both have been detained at Terenure Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984. A substantial amount of cash has been recovered.

Three Held In Dublin Cocaine Seizure
Three men have been arrested following the seizure of cocaine in Dublin. It is understood that 3.5kg of the drug, worth an estimated 250,000 euros, was discovered in Rathmines after being imported in cargo from Peru through Dublin Airport on Thursday. According to reports, the drugs had been sent by courier from Peru.

Man Attacked By Four Men In Attempted Robbery
A man in his 60s is in hospital after being assaulted by four masked men following an attempted burglary in Dublin. The incident happened at a house on Fortfield Road, Terenure, at 9.30pm last night (Thursday). The man was confronted by the gang when he answered a knock at the door. It is understood his son was also in the house at the time.

Gardaí have launched an investigation into an armed robbery in south Dublin in the early hours of Monday morning. It is understood a businessman was lodging cash at a bank deposit box at about 4:45am on Terenure Road East in Rathgar, when he was approached by a man, dressed in women's clothing, and carrying what appeared to be a handgun.

Man Arrested Over Fatal House Fire Released Without Charge
A man arrested in connection with a fatal house fire in Dublin has been released without charge. A 44-year-old man died in the blaze which happened at a property on Oakland's Terrace, Rathgar, at around 3am on Tuesday, 21 August. It is understood the man had escaped from the fire before returning inside and suffered critical injuries.
