Appeal Issued For Cork City Man Martin Dalton
Gardaí have issued appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 29-year-old Martin Dalton.
Mr Dalton, from Fairhill in Cork City, was last seen on Saturday 21 October, 2017, but it is understood that he was not reported missing until 15 December.
He is described as being 6', broad build, blue eyes and brown hair.
Anyone with information should contact Anglesea Street Garda Station on (021) 452 2000.

Republican Group Votes For New Leader
Republican Sinn Féin has elected a new President. He will succeed Ruairi O’Bradaigh, who has led the organisation for more than 20 years. The veteran hard-line republican, 77, is retiring for health and age reasons. Des Dalton, from Co Kildare, has been Vice-President since 2003, and vowed to remain active in republican circles.

Two barmen working in one of the State's most famous hotels are facing charges of manslaughter after an Englishman died from acute alcohol intoxication. The charges are the first incidence of "liquor liability" criminal proceedings being brought in Ireland.

Over 30 Arrested Over Mullingar Riots
Some 30 people have been arrested in connection with the riots in Mullingar last July. The riot started at noon July 29th 2008 in the Dalton Park estate on the east side of Mullingar. Two petrol bombs were thrown and one house was badly damaged during the altercation, which was described as a riot.

Two feuding traveller families launched a riotous attack on each other leaving a number injured, and witnesses horrified. The McDonagh and Nevin family have been reportedly involved in a long running dispute over an unpaid bet on a fist fight.

DCC Publish New Transport Study Proposals
A public consultation is to be launched tomorrow on Dublin City Council's (DCC) new transport study, which lays out a number of proposals to "enhance overall movement in the city". DCC said that traffic congestion in the city is "already rising" and morning-peak journeys are estimated to rise by more than 40,000 by 2023.
