Marketing Firm N3 Announces 100 New Jobs

Sales and marketing firm N3 has announced that it is to create 100 new full-time jobs by the end of 2018.

N3 is a client of the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland. Their Dublin office serves as a central anchor in EMEA, driving revenue for some of the world's leading global technology companies including Microsoft, SAP, Cisco, and others.

Jeff Laue, N3 CEO, said: "As the technology sector continues to rapidly expand in Europe, Ireland serves as a key strategic location to service our global clients. Dublin gives us access to the highly educated sales and technical resources we need, and a wide range of language capabilities. We offer candidates the chance to work with leading technology companies in a fast-paced, cutting edge environment."

Commenting on the announcement Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys said: "N3's decision to double the size of its EMEA HQ in Dublin by creating an additional 100 jobs is excellent news and a reflection of our attractiveness for companies targeting high technology sectors. The ICT Sector has made extraordinary advances in recent years and companies such as N3 are well positioned to support that sector to expand its customer base while retaining existing customers. Enterprise Ireland’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2010 shows that Irish companies achieved €14bn export sales in 2010. Within that, Irish companies achieved a record €1.95bn of new export sales. This represents a strong rebound and recovery of 70% of the exports lost in 2009.

N2/N3 Link Road Opens
Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport Leo Varadkar has opened the N2/N3 link road in west Dublin, the first road project to be funded with assistance from NAMA. The Minister was joined at the launch in Blanchardstown of the €20.55 million project by the Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Cian O'Callaghan.

One Dead In N3 Road Crash
One person has been killed and two more people have been injured in a road traffic accident in Co Meath. The crash happened at Kilmainham, on the N3 between Navan and Kells on Friday morning, with the road expected to be closed for much of the afternoon. Motorists are being diverted onto alternative routes.

Woman Killed In Co Meath Crash
A woman has been killed in a two-vehicle collision in Co. Meath. The crash happened around 9.30am on the Dunboyne side of Fairyhouse Cross. The woman who died is reported to be a 25-year-old. The N3 is expected to remain closed for the rest of the afternoon.
