Man Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Adrian Donohoe
A man has been arrested in connection with the 2013 murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.
Mr Donohoe, a father-of-two, was shot dead outside Lordship Credit Union in Dundalk, Co Louth on 25th January, 2013.
Garda detained a man outside Wheatfield Prison. According to reports the man has just been released having completed a sentence for "roadside offences".
He is currently being detained at Dundalk Garda station and can be questioned by garda for three days.

Donohoe and a colleague were attacked by an armed gang as they waited outside the credit union to escort staff and takings to a bank.

New Cheaper Drug Prices Introduced
The government plan to replace branded drugs prescribed to patients with cheaper generic alternatives comes into force today. Commonly prescribed drugs will be now be cheaper for both patients who buy them at pharmacies and the Health Service Executive, who buy them on behalf of people with medical cards.

Crime Conference To Review Garda Operations In 2013
Gardaí targeting individuals and gangs involved in burglaries across Ireland have made almost 7,000 arrests. The figures have been revealed ahead of a two-day crime conference starting today at Templemore. The figures for Operation Fiacla also show that of those arrested almost 4,000 have been charged and brought before the courts.
