Garda Officers Injured In Squad Car Collision
Two gardaí officers remain in hospital following a collision in Dublin.
According to reports, the male and female officers were seriously injured when their squad car crashed on Pigeon House Road in Ringsend at approximately 5pm yesterday, 29 October.
It is unclear what caused the crash but the squad car is said to have flipped over during the collision.
Both officers are being treated at St Vincent's Hospital.
Gardaí are investigating the cause of the collision and have appealed to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.

Witness Appeal Following Death Of A Man In Co Monaghan
Gardaí have appeal for witnesses following the death of a man in County Monaghan. The body of the man, believed to be aged in his 80s, was discovered on the side of the road at Carnaveigh, Castleblaney at 4pm on Wednesday, 11 October. A blue Opel Corsa was found crashed nearby. The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was not injured.

Revenue officers seized €20,000 in cash from a couple who landed in Knock airport having returned from Lanzarote. The can was concealed in items of clothing and carry-on luggage. The cash was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act and investigations are continuing.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed in a car crash in Co Monaghan. The two-vehicle collision happened at 6:30pm on the N54 Monaghan to Clones Road in Aghalisk yesterday, 05 January. The 68-year-old victim was fatally injured in the crash and declared dead at the scene.

Man Dies In Galway Crash
A man has been killed in a road crash in Co. Galway. The two-car collision happened on the main Gort to Ennis Road near the Galway-Clare border around 7:30am this morning. The victim is understood to be the driver of one of the vehicles, while the driver of the other vehicle was also injured and has been taken to hospital.

A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.
