Man Dies In County Waterford Road Crash
A man in his 20's has died in a road crash in County Waterford in the early hours of Saturday 08 December.
The collision between a car and a lorry happened on the N25 at Bawnard, Ardmore, at around 4.30am.
The man was the sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene after his vehicle collided with a lorry.
The male lorry driver, aged in his late 40's, was taken to University Hospital Waterford with non-life threatening injuries.
The stretch of road where the collision happened was closed for a period of time to facilitate Gardaí Forensic Collision Investigators to examine the scene, with local diversions put in place.
Officers have appealed for witnesses who may have been driving on the N25 between the hours of 4am and 5am from Youghal bridge to Dungarvan, especially those with dash cam footage, to contact Dungarvan Garda station on 058-48600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

A man has been arrested after fleeing from the scene of a fatal accident on County Cork in the early hours of this morning. Two men in their 20s were killed in a head on collision of two vehicles at approximately 2.45am this morning on the N25 at Caherulton, Castlemartyr, County Cork.

Appeal Issued Following Serious Crash In Dublin
Gardai have issued an appeal for information following a serious collision in Dublin. The crash happened on the Naas Road shortly after 11am on Tuesday, 05 July. Two men sustained serious injuries after their motorcycles collided with the trailer of an articulated lorry. The men are being treated at Tallaght General Hospital.
