Body Of A Woman Discovered At House In Co Donegal
An investigation has been launched into the death of a woman in Killygordon, Co Donegal.
The body of a woman, aged in her 20s, was discovered at a house in the town in the early hours of this morning, Friday, 04 January.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out which will determine the course of the investigation, garda have said.
The scene has been preserved to allow for a forensic examination.
According to reports, a man has been detained in connection with the death.

Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

An appeal has been issued to help trace the whereabouts of 34-year-old Rhonda O'Loughlin. She was last seen on Sunday 23 September at Bridgetown, Laghey, in Co Donegal. Rhonda is described as 5ft 5' in height, of slim build with brown/auburn hair. When last seen she was wearing a red top and grey tracksuit bottoms.

The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in Ennis early today, Tuesday 04 February. The body was found at about 6am this morning by a passer-by on a walkway alongside the River Fergus. It is understood that garda do not believe the woman's death to be suspicious "at this stage".

Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Co Donegal Road Crash
Gardaí in Co Donegal have reported the death of a 19-year-old woman in a road accident on Tuesday morning. It is understood the woman was a front seat passenger in a car that crashed into a ditch at Dreenan in Ballybofey at about 4:24am on Tuesday. The driver of the car, a 19-year-old male, is said to have suffered minor injuries in the crash.
