Martin O'Neill Named New Nottingham Forest Manager
Former Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has been appointed as the new boss for English Championship side Nottingham Forest.
O'Neill takes over from Aitor Karanka who left the club on Friday 11 January.
This marks his return to the club after a successful playing career in the late 70s/early 80s which saw him play in a double European cup winning team.
He will take control of the squad for next weekend's game at home to Bristol City.
The Northern Ireland man hopes to propel the squad into league success, as they sit 9th, just four points out of the play off places.
