An American company that provides a range of functions and technologies for the insurance and financial service industries has announced that it will create 250 jobs in Dublin.

Customer services colleagues, as well as roles in sales, claims, property, liability, accident and health insurance and corporate finance will be available.

The firm currently employs around 400 people in seven offices across the country.

Ireland CEO for the business, Malcolm Hughes, said: "Today's announcement is the result of the continued, successful growth and performance of our Irish operations and our expectation that this development will continue.
