Man Dies After North Dublin Shooting

A man has died after he was gunned down in north Dublin this morning.

The victim, believed to be in his 30's, was shot a number of times outside his house in Marigold Crescent in Darnadale.

The incident took place on Friday 08 February at around 6.30am.

The man was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital.

He died a short time later.

A man has been released without charge after being questioned in connection with the shooting of a boy in Dublin on Friday. The six-year-old was shot in the neck in Ballyfermot. A man was detained on suspicion of withholding information. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.
