Appeal Issued For Information On West Dublin Shooting
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in west Dublin on Wednesday, 06 March.
A 24-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he was shot a number times while stopped in traffic at the junction of Blakestown road and Huntstown Way at about 5pm.
He remains in a critical condition at Beaumont Hospital.
At the time of the shooting, the victim was driving a white VW van registration number 151D43908.
Gardaí have said that the gunman is believed to have been a passenger in a black/grey BMW.
A vehicle, matching that description, was found burnt out following the shooting at Saddlers Lawn.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made as yet.

Gardaí Appeal For Information Following Cork Shooting
Garda have appealed to the public for information following the shooting of a 20-year-old man in Cork. The shooting happening at around 23:30 on Friday 19 July in the Fairhill area of Cork City and the man was taken to Cork University Hospital. A forensic and technical examination of the scene was carried out on Saturday morning.

Man Released Following Dublin Shooting
A man has been released without charge after being questioned in connection with the shooting of a boy in Dublin on Friday. The six-year-old was shot in the neck in Ballyfermot. A man was detained on suspicion of withholding information. A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Shots Fired At House In North Dublin
An investigation has been launched following a shooting incident in north Dublin last night. At approximately 10.30pm, shots were fired at a house in the Cromcastle Court area in Kilmore. According to reports, a window of the house was smashed but nobody was injured. Gardaí attended the scene and officers carried out a technical exam of the area.
