Concern Grows For Missing Dublin Man
The family of a 35-year-old man from Lucan who has been missing since Monday are growing increasingly concerned for his safety.
Karen Joseph Holland is missing from Lucan after being seen on Monday 11 March wearing a hi-vis below waist workman's jacket and/or a camouflage jacket, blue jeans and a t-shirt, black trainers and carrying a blue/black backpack.
Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing his whereabouts.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers in Lucan Station on 01 6667300, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or any station.

Off-Duty Garda Attacked With Samurai Sword
A court has heard how an off-duty garda was attacked with a samurai sword as he chased two men who had just robbed a shop. Detective Garda Shane Kelly saw the raiders flee from the scene and chased them in his personal car. When he cornered their vehicle near Lucan one of the raiders used the sword to smash the detective’s windscreen.

Renewed Appeal For Missing Dublin Teen
Gardaí in Dublin have renewed their appeal for information regarding a teenager who has been missing for two weeks. Chantelle Doyle was last spotted in Lucan village at around 6pm on Thursday 29 August. When last seen she was wearing a red jacket, grey T-shirt, black leggings and green/blue coloured Nike trainers.

Gardaí in Lucan are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old from Moyglass Road, Lucan. Michelle Doyle was last seen at 3pm on Monday 14th March 2011, it is believed she was going to the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.

Gardaí have launched a public appeal to held find a man missing from Lucan. Thomas Moffett, 53, has been missing from his home at Esker Lane since the weekend of 29/30 March. He is described as 5' 10", of slim build with short grey hair. He also wears glasses. He was seen by a neighbour in the Lucan area over the weekend.
