Gardaí Ombudsman Seeks Witnesses To Fatal Louth Crash
The Gardaí watchdog has launched an appeal for witnesses to a crash in County Louth in which two men from Northern Ireland died.
The single vehicle collision happened on the R173 between Carlingford and Omeath just after midnight yesterday, Monday 18 March.
Shane McAnallen and Martin Patterson, both from County Down, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators wish to speak to anyone who may have seen a black Lexus with a Northern Ireland registration around the time of the crash.
Anyone with dash cam footage is urged to come forward.

Carlow Car Crash Kills Two
Two people have been killed in County Carlow. A man, 23, and a woman, 18, died when the vehicle they were travelling in hit a tree in Kilcarry, Clonegal. No other vehicles were involved in the incident and the two killed were the only occupants in the car. Garda have appealed for any witnesses to the crash.

Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.
