Witnesses Sought To Fatal Motorcycle Collision
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to a serious collision in Co Cork on Tuesday evening.
At about 8pm, a man aged in his 40s, died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at Lough Beg, Ringaskiddy.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and has since been taken to Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
The scene of the collision was closed to allow for a forensic examination.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Togher Garda Station on 021-4947120, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.

11-Year-Old Boy Killed In Car Collision
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy died when he was struck by a car in Co Offaly. It is understood the boy was cycling to school on the R446 old Dublin to Galway road when he was hit by a car at Marshbrook, near Moate, at around 9am this morning, 01 September. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

At approximately 9am this morning, Wednesday 25th April 2018, a male driver in his 50s and only occupant of a car was fatally injured when the car he was driving struck a stationary trailer.

Amale pedestrian, aged in his 20s, was found with fatal injuries at the side of the Rathmolyon to Summerhill Road at approximately 8.50pm. The man is understood to have been hit by a car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
