Elderly Woman In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Motorcyclist
A woman in her 70s has been seriously injured in a crash in Dublin.
The incident happened on Ballinteer Avenue at around 7.45pm, after the woman got off a bus and attempted to cross a road. It is believed she was then struck by a motorbike.
She was taken to St James's Hospital and has since been transferred to Beaumont. She is believed to be in critical condition.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact Dundrum Garda Station on 01-6665600 or the Garda Confidential Lane 1800 666 111.

Body Of A Woman Discovered At House In Co Donegal
An investigation has been launched into the death of a woman in Killygordon, Co Donegal. The body of a woman, aged in her 20s, was discovered at a house in the town in the early hours of this morning, Friday, 04 January. A post-mortem is due to be carried out which will determine the course of the investigation, garda have said.

Woman Stabbed In Athy
A woman has been stabbed in Athy, Co Kildare. The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was stabbed just before noon, on Tuesday. She was taken to Naas General Hospital and was treated with minor injuries. Gardai have launched an investigation. No arrests have been made.
