Pair Arrested By Gardaí Investigating Human Trafficking

Two women have been arrested in County Westmeath in connection with an investigation into human trafficking, money laundering and prostitution.

Gardaí detained the pair, aged 42 and 49, after a search of two premises in the Mullingar area yesterday morning, Sunday 14 April.

The investigation is ongoing.

Suspected Human Remains Discovered In Dublin
Suspected human remains have been found near St James's Hospital in Dublin. The discovery was made on Wednesday at around 3pm. It is not known if the remains are human, animal or historic, according to Gardai. The scene has been preserved and a forensic anthropologist is to examine the remains today, 05 May.
