Pair Arrested As Gardaí Raid Leitrim Grow House
Two men have been arrested and detained after gardaí discovered a cannabis grow house in County Leitrim.
90 plants in the early stages of growth, a kilogram of cannabis herb, cultivation equipment and 50 fully mature cannabis plants were seized from the premises. The drugs had an estimated street value of €60,000.
The two arrested, aged 22 and 49, are Lithuanian nationals and are being held at Ballyshannon Station.
An examination of the site is ongoing.

Gardaí launched a search operation at a rural dwelling at Moyvoughly in Moate on Thursday evening, 01 September. Cannabis plants in various stages of growth were discovered in what garda described as a "highly sophisticated" grow house.

Man In 60s Held Over Cannabis Discovery
A man in his 60s has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a cannabis grow house in Co Wexford. The man was found to be growing the plants in the upstairs of his house in Chapelwood, Kilmuckbridge when gardai responded to a call out at the address on Sunday at around 15:30.
