Weekend Weather Warnings As Storm Hannah Brings High Winds
Met Éireann has issued status orange and yellow weather warnings for the weekend as Storm Hannah moves in.
People are being urged to prepare for possible disruption and power outages from Friday afternoon.
A status orange warning for wind will be in place for counties Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick from 4pm tomorrow through to the early hours of Saturday morning.
Southernly winds are expected to reach speeds of 80 km/h.
The rest of the province will be covered by a yellow warning from 11pm on Friday through to 9am on Saturday.

Met Éireann Issue Yellow Warning For Wind And Rain
A yellow warning has been issued by Met Éireann for heavy rain and strong winds across most parts of Ireland from Friday evening until Sunday. The forecaster has predicted between 60 and 90mm of rain in coastal and mountainous areas. Temperatures will range between 15 to 18 degrees tomorrow, dropping to 13 to 15 degrees on Sunday.

Status Orange Weather Warning Extended
Met Éireann has renewed a Status Orange warning for heavy, and at times thundery rainfall, which could lead to flooding. The weather warning, which advises people to "be prepared", covers counties, Connacht, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary. The warning was issued at 05:00 on Friday and remains in place until 03:00 on Saturday morning.
