Renewed Appeal For Information On Disappearance Of Deirdre Jacob

Gardaí have issued a fresh appeal for information on the disappearance of Deirdre Jacob, who went missing on 28 July, 1998.

The 18-year-old was last seen at around 3pm crossing the road towards the entrance to her home at Roseberry, Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Garda have said that a distinctive bag – black satchel-type bag with long shoulder-straps with CAT in large yellow letters printed on the front – that Deidre had with her when she was last seen has never been found.

They are keen to hear from anyone who may have found or noticed a bag similar to this around the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Newbridge Garda Station at 045-431212, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111 or any garda station. 

Ms Jacob is described as 1.60m (5'3") tall, of slim build, with grey/green eyes, and dark chin-length hair.

When last seen she was wearing a navy v-neck t-shirt with white trim on collar and sleeves, navy or black straight jeans and blue Nike runners.

Fresh Appeal Issued For Woman Missing Since 1998
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Deirdre Jacob in 1998 have issued a fresh appeal for information. Ms Jacob was last seen crossing the road towards the entrance to her home at 3pm at Roseberry, Newbridge, Co. Kildare on Tuesday, 28 July 1998. She was eighteen years old at the time.

Appeals Issued For Missing Men In Galway And Cavan
Gardaí in Galway have appealed for help in tracing 19-year-old Finian Varden Kenny, who has been missing since the weekend. Mr Kenny was last seen in the area of Turloughmore, Athenry, Co Galway on Sunday, 10 July 2016. The teenager is described as being 5'9" with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Information Sought Over Donnybrook Man
Officers investigating the suspicious death of a man in the Donnybrook area of Dublin last week are seeking information from the public. Gardai at Donnybrook Garda Station, looking into the death of Patrick Coulter, 65, from Beech Hill, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, said a file is being prepared for the Dublin City Coroner.

Garda Issue Two Missing Person Appeals
Gardaí in Monaghan have appealed for help in tracing 57-year-old Gordon Stewart, who has been missing for almost a week. Mr Stewart went missing from his home in Crescent Hill, Castleblaney, on Sunday 21 June. Gordon was last seen in the Lough Muckno area of Castleblaney at approximately 9.30am.

Appeal Launched Over Missing Dublin Man
Concern is growing over the safety of a Dublin man who has been missing since last Wednesday. Gardai at Ballyfermot Garda Station are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of 38-year-old Sean Donohoe, who is missing from his home at Sarsfield Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 since the March 3.
