Arrest Following Tallaght Assault

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s in connection with a serious assault in Tallaght over the weekend.

A man in his 40s was reported to have received facial injuries in an incident outside a fast food restaurant on the Belgard Road area in the early hours of Saturday morning, 03 August.

The man did not receive medical attention at the scene but attended Beaumont Hospital the following day where he remains in serious condition.

The arrested individual was detained at Tallaght Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area between 2.30-3.30am on Saturday and who may have witnessed the incident to contact Tallaght Garda Station on 01 666 6000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Missing Tallaght Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A man who had been missing from the Tallaght area has been found 'safe and well', Garda have reported. 30-year-old John Rodgers was reported missing on 11 July. However, Garda said John has now been found and thanked the public for their assistance.

Teen Arrested Following Firearm Seizure
A 19-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí following the seizure of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin. He was arrested on the Jobstown Road at approximately 12.40am on Tuesday morning. Gardaí were alerted after a man was seen holding a weapon. The male was chased on foot and gardaí disarmed and arrested him.

Man Arrested Following Stabbing At Dublin Club
A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Kilakee, Dublin on Monday afternoon. It is understood an altercation broke out between three males and one female at about 3.45pm at the Hell Fire Club. One of the males was stabbed in the incident and another male, and the female, were assaulted.

Second Arrest Made Following Drugs And Gun Seizure
A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the seizure of a firearm and drugs, with an estimated street value of €200,000. It is the second arrest in connection with the seizures made on April 04. The man is being held at Tallaght Garda Station.

Appeal Issued For Missing 13-Year-Old
Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing 13-year-old Destiny Omoriuyi. The teenager has been missing from his home at Moynihan Court, Dublin 24, since Monday, 16 May. He is described as being 5' tall, of broad build, with black hair and black eyes.
