Arrests As Drugs Worth €1m Seized
Three men have been arrested after drugs worth €1 million were seized during searches in Dublin and Meath.
Seven kilograms of heroin was discovered, sparking national and international investigations.
The joint operation was carried out on Sunday morning, 01 September, by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the UK National Crime Agency.
The three individuals, aged in their 40s and 50s, are being held at Dublin Garda stations.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a major drug seizure in Dublin that led to the discovery of an estimated €500,000 worth of various drugs. In a statement released this morning, Gardai said they had seized the drugs and arrested the two males following an intelligence lead operation in Dublin yesterday.

Man Arrested Over Roscommon Device
A man has been arrested in connection with the detenation of an explosive device in Roscommon. Gardaí in Roscommon investigating the improvised explosive device, which caused damage to a business premise at Castle Street, Roscommon on Sunday, arrested a male in his 30's yesterday evening. The male was arrested at approx 6pm in the Kildare region.

80 Arrested In Dublin Drug Operation
Some 80 arrests have been made in the past 48 hours in a mass drug operation in Dublin. Detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit working closely with local Garda units from the greater Dublin area searched over 100 premises in the past 48 hours and arrested 80 people suspected of involvement in the sale and supply of Heroin and Cocaine.
