Woman Killed In Collision In Co Kerry
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following a fatal road traffic collision involving an SUV and a car in Co Kerry.
A woman, aged in her 20s, was killed when the car she was driving was involved in a collision with an SUV at around 8am this morning on the N21 at Meenleitrim, Castleisland.
The woman was the only person in the car, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was taken to University Hospital Kerry with non-life threatening injuries.
The scene at the crash site has been preserved for examination by garda forensic collision investigators
Gardaí at Tralee are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, particularly any motorists who were travelling in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.

A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Two Dead In Separate Collisions
Two people have died on Ireland's roads after traffic collisions in Dublin and Kilkenny in the last two days. In the latest incident, a male aged 19 was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a stationary vehicle. His body was taken to Tallaght Hospital.

According to gardaí, a 55-year-old woman was hit by a bus while cycling at about 21:40 on Burlington Road on Monday night. She is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital, where her condition is described as serious.

A man has died after his car collided into a wall in Co Meath. The incident happened at around 4:55pm at Clownstown on the Dunshauhlin to Navan road yesterday, 07 April. The victim, aged in his 30's, was seriously injured and taken to Navan General Hospital. However, he was later pronounced dead.
