Cork Search For Missing Fisherman Continues
The search for a fisherman who has been missing from the Dunmannus area of west Cork has entered its third day.
Lone fisherman Kodie Healy, aged in his 20s, had been at sea since early on Wednesday morning and was due to arrive back at around 6pm.
The search is being coordinated by Valentia Coast Guard in conjunction with An Garda Síochána. The Shannon-based Coast Guard helicopter R115 is due to conduct further searches today, with shoreline scours of the shoreline also carried out. A Naval Service diving team is participating.
The operation is focusing on the general area where debris has been found.

Body Found In Search For Missing Fisherman
Rescuers searching for a fisherman missing off the coast of Cork have recovered a body. A search operation was launched at first light today (Tuesday) after the fisherman failed to return from a trip on Monday night. The search in an area south of Schull involved local rescue boats, the LÉ Orla, and a Coast Guard helicopter.

Major Search Operation Ongoing For Missing Jet-Skier
A major search operation is ongoing on Lough Ree in the Midlands after a woman went missing while jet-sking. The operation was launched on Sunday evening after a woman failed to return to shore at the lake, which borders Westmeath and Longford. Irish Coast Guard Helicopter, RNLI crews, civil defence and sub-aqua clubs are involved in the operation.

A search is to resume this morning for a fisherman who was swept into the sea in Co Clare last night (Sunday). According to reports, the man had been fishing with friends off the rocks at Ballyreen, near Fanore, in the county around 5.30pm. He was angling from the rocks when he was hit by a wave.
