A security alert is ongoing in Dublin following the discovery of a suspicious device.
According to reports, the area around Christ Church Cathedral in the city is closed off following the discovery.
Roads around the cathedral have been closed while garda and Army Bomb experts investigate the device.
Drivers in the area are being told to expect delays and diversions.

Four Men Arrested Following Discovery Of Suspect Device
Four men have been arrested in connection with a suspect device in Co Longford. It is understood that the men were detained after garda found a suspected improvised explosive device in a car travelling on the R392 at Forgney, close to Ballymahon.

Viable Explosive Device Made Safe In Co Kildare
An explosive device discovered at a house in Co Kildare has been made safe by Army bomb disposal experts. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team were called to an address in Ballitore, Co Kildare, at around 4.40am on Thursday following the discovery of the device.
