21 Search Operations Conducted Across 8 Counties
A series of search operations have been carried across eight counties as part of an operation targeting the assets and activities of an Organised Criminal Group involved in the sale and supply of controlled drugs.
The Criminal Assets Bureau with the assistance of the Garda Emergency Response Unit, Garda Regional Armed Support Unit (Western Region) and local Gardaí attached to the Longford Garda District conducted some 21 search operations on Thursday 14 November 2019.
Searches were conducted across eight counties: Longford, Offlay, Laois Westmeath, Tipperary, Cavan, Roscommon and Dublin.
Five residential premises and sixteen business premises were targeted.
A male in his 20s has been arrested by local Gardaí under the Criminal Justice (Theft and Fraud) Offences Act, 2001.
The following items have been seized:
• 191 Ford Focus
• 181 Ford Focus (2)
• 181 Ford Ranger
• 161 Ford Focus (2)
• TuffMac car trailer
• Car towing dolly
• 3 Rolex watches
• Designer Handbags
• 18,600 Euros cash
• Fake 20 euro notes
• Financial documents
• Computers and mobile phones
• Drugs paraphernalia.

Search Continues For Missing Men In Cavan
Gardai are continuing to search for two men believed to be missing in Cavan. Eoin O'Connor, 32, and Anthony Keegan, 33, both from Dublin, were last seen on Tuesday. It is suspected the pairs' disappearance is connected to the activities of a criminal gang from Dublin. Gardai are appealing to farmers and landowners to check their outbuildings.

€140,000 Heroin Seized From 'Suspicious' Car In Dublin
Heroin worth an estimated street value of €140,000 has been seized by Gardaí in central Dublin. Gardaí received reports of the 'suspiciously parked' car on Portland Street North in Monday, 04 January. While approaching the green Ford Focus, officers noticed the boot was lying open.

Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Hit-And-Run & Shooting Incident
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information after a cyclist was run off the road before being shot a number of times in Dublin. Shortly after 9.30pm last night, Monday 27 March, a man was cycling on James Joyce Street when he was struck by a silver Ford Focus, license plate 08CN6682, at the junction of James Joyce Street and Sean McDermott Street.

O'Connell Street Re-Opens Following Collision
O'Connell Street has re-opened following an earlier collision involving a car and a Luas. The Luas and Ford Focus crashed at the junction of Abbey Street and O'Connell Street in Dublin at around 10am this morning. Five people have been taken to hospital as a precaution, however none are believed to have serious injuries.
