Two Arrested In Connection With 2011 Murder Of Patrick Heeran
A man and a woman have been arrested by gardaí investigating the murder of Patrick Heeran, who was last seen in Mohill, Co Leitrim on 03 October 2011.
A murder investigation based in Co Leitrim has been ongoing since 2016.
A man in his mid 20s and a woman also in her mid 20s were both arrested in the midlands and are currently detained at Tullamore Garda Station. The man has been detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, while the woman is being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939.
The investigation is ongoing.

Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

Limerick Man Dies After Assault In Home
A 48-year-old man has died as a result of serious injuries he received in his own home after a serious assault. Gardaí have launched a murder investigation into the attack during which, Limerick man Joe O'Donnell, 48, of Hyde Road, suffered serious head wounds in the early hours of Friday morning.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Vincent Ryan in Finglas on 29 February. Gardaí investigating the murder searched a number of premises in the north and west Dublin areas. During the course of the searches two men in their 30's were arrested.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
