Armed Man Steals Cash Box In Dublin

Gardaí are appealing for information following a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin.

The incident occurred at Cornmarket, Dublin 8, at approximately 5.20am when a lone male approached and threatened two security staff members as they delivered cash to an ATM outside a financial institution.

The man fled the scene on foot with a cash box containing an undisclosed sum of cash. It's understood he was armed with a hand gun.

No shots were fired and there was no one physically harmed during the incident. No arrests have been made to date and enquiries are ongoing.

Gardaí Appeal For Information Following Aggravated Burglary
Gardaí in Co Wicklow have appealed for information following an aggravated burglary in Ballynultagh, Shillelagh, on Wednesday 16 March. The incident occurred at approximately 9.10pm when three males entered a house at Ballynultagh. The owner of the house, a male in his late 80s, was on his own in the property at the time.
