Met Éireann Issues Yellow Weather Warning
Met Éireann has issued a 'yellow' weather warning for all 26 counties.
The warning for severe winds has been put in place until 4pm today, 10 December.
In a statement Met Éireann said: :Wet and windy this morning with outbreaks of rain, heavy and squally at times. The rain will clear eastwards during the afternoon with a mix of sunshine and scattered showers following behind, some of the showers that follow will be heavy with hail and thunder."

Met Éireann Issues Orange Weather Warning
Met Éireann has issued a weather warning with flooding also reported in Galway and Cork. Gusts of up to 120km/h are expected to sweep across Ireland today. An orange warning has been issued for counties Galway, Mayo, Wexford, Kerry, Cork, Clare, Waterford and Limerick.

Met Éireann Issues Weather Warning
Met Éireann has issued a yellow weather warning today for over 12 counties. Motorists are being urged to be extra vigilant and to be careful of fallen trees, as a result of the high winds. Four flights have been cancelled at Dublin Airport due to adverse weather conditions.

Storm Names For 2019-2020 Released
Atiyah, Brendan, Maura and Samir are among the names listed for the 2019-2020 storm season. The Dutch National Weather Service (KNMI) has joined Met Éireann and the UK Met Office for the first time in the Name our Storm campaign, which raises awareness of the threats of severe weather in Ireland and Britain before it hits.

Met Éireann Issues Yellow Weather Warning
A 'yellow' weather warning has been put in place by Met Éireann as southerly winds are expected to reach speeds of between 45 and 65 km/h with gusts up to 110 km/h during Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday is to be a cloudy and windy day with temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in strong southwesterly winds.

A weather warning has been issued by Met Éireann and will be in place for most of the day (Friday). The yellow warning comes as up to 40mm of rain is due to fall today, with winds also reaching gale force. Rain is expected to move southeastwards throughout the day and will be heavy in places.
